A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Santorum

In another deadly blow to Liberalism, Senator Rick "I May Not Be A Smart Man, But I Know What Man/Dog Love Is" Santorum allowed This Week's George Stephanopoulos to pick his brain on yesterday's edition of the Sunday morning program.

Fielding questions about his new meisterwerke, I'm Nuts, Why Ain't You?, the pickings seemed slim indeed as George S. sought clarification on the evil scourge of radical feminism:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Let’s talk about something else in the book, radical feminists. A second quote from the book, you say, "Respect for stay-at-home mothers has been poisoned by a toxic combination of the village elders’ war on the traditional family and radical feminism’s mysogynistic crusade to make working outside the home the only marker of social value and self-respect."

Let’s get specific here. Name one or two of these radical feminists who are on this crusade.

SANTORUM: Well, I mean, you know, you have — you go back to, what’s her name, well, Gloria Steinem, but I’m trying to remember — I can’t remember the woman’s name. It’s terrible. Anyway…

STEPHANOPOULOS: But it’s kind of an important point. Because you paint this broad brush: radical feminists, village elders. Name one.

SANTORUM: There’s lots of — no, there’s lots of — well, Gloria Steinem. There’s one. I mean, there’s lots of writings out there…

STEPHANOPOULOS: She’s been on a crusade against stay-at-home moms?

SANTORUM: There’s lots of writings out there...

I think he's answered your question, Stephanopoulos! There's lots of writings out there! If that isn't good enough for you, then you're just proving what I've said all along about the Media's liberal bias!

For god's sake, leave the man alone! Can't you see he's trying to think?

Conservatives, take note: Rick S. has provided another valuable weapon for the Conservative arsenal here. So the next time someone tries to put you on the spot by asking:

Liberal Media Pundit: Don't you think it's obvious now that this war was begun by misleading the American public with a bunch of trumped-up charges hatched by a gang of misguided idealogues?

You just say:

You: Gloria Steinem!
